Yoga to Engage the Brain - Some Seated, More Standing. In today’s practice, we’ll explore poses for mind and body connection including standing memory series. You’ll need a chair and a small ball (or substitute) for today’s class. Welcome to Bottoms Down Chair Yoga. I’m Carol and I’m happy you’ve chosen to spend this time together with me warming up to stretch, lengthen and strengthen your body. This 30 minute yoga practice explores poses to engage the brain. Get a cognitive boost as we increase fresh blood and oxygen to the brain, relax the mind, increase focus, and improve memory. You’ll need a chair and a small ball (or substitute) for today’s practice. We’ll start seated and move to a standing position and return to seated.
