Real Yoga for Real People
At Bottoms Down Chair Yoga, we make yoga truly accessible. Our senior-led classes are designed for all levels and abilities, especially for those who are brand new to yoga or returning after time away. No pressure, no pretzels — just safe, simple movements taught by instructors who understand your journey.
Most of our members practice right from home, with nearly half streaming classes on their TV, turning their living room into a personal wellness studio. And because life doesn’t always allow for an hour-long class, many of our videos are just 15–30 minutes — short enough to fit into your day, but powerful enough to make a real difference.
Our mission is simple: to bring safe, empowering chair yoga to anyone, anywhere, so you can build strength, ease tension, and find balance in everyday life.

In today’s fast pace society , sometimes you have to exercise when you get a chance. Carol is very well educated in the art of physical exercise, and we needed a person in our age group to teach us safely to exercise. This is exactly what Carol does! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

So pleased to have more opportunities to tone my legs! It's so good to be steroid free and be able to strengthen my body again. All the poses were great! Thank you Carol. Namaste xx

We don't have much yoga classes where i live, they are very crowded and the teacher is not as friendly as you are. It is important for me to have a good AND as well friendly teacher. Greetings from Germany

It has taken me far more than 26 days to get here but I’m here. The goblet squat is such a great challenge for those legs and I can do it! I did need to modify on boat pose but made it through. Thank you so much, Carol!
@gracenorcott1
Great class - thanks for giving so many options with the poses. Today my balance felt a bit off so I appreciated the "easier" options! Happy Friday

Thank you, Carol, that was really good. I was able to do most of the exercises even with a broken leg. On September 2, they will remove the ski boot from my leg.

Good evening Carol. I’m half way through and totally enjoying it. I’m 76 years old and the only problem I have are my shoulders. But it gets easier every day.
