Neck and Shoulders- Seated. In today’s practice, we’ll explore poses that focus on the neck, shoulders and upper back. We often hold stress in these areas, and as you work through these poses, you can find some tension release as you stretch, lengthen and strengthen your body. Welcome to Bottoms Down Chair Yoga. I’m Carol and I’m happy you’ve chosen to spend this time together with me warming up to stretch, lengthen and strengthen your body. This is a 30 minute practice and is a great way to experience stress reduction and tension release in the neck and shoulders. We warm up gently and work through various poses and exercises to move your body and release tension. You’ll need a chair for today’s class. We’ll stay seated the entire time.
