Chair Yoga to Engage the Brain - Seated. In today’s practice, we’ll explore poses for mind and body connection including seated Cat and Cow poses. You’ll need a chair for today’s class and a small ball (or substitute). Welcome to Bottoms Down Chair Yoga. I’m Carol and I’m happy you’ve chosen to spend this time together to stretch, lengthen and strengthen your body. This series - Slow and Short - will focus on taking our practice a little slower. We’ll move in and out of poses more slowly and I’ll be sure to enunciate clearly. And we’ll keep the classes under 30 minutes. This 20 minute yoga practice explores poses to engage the brain. Get a cognitive boost as we increase fresh blood and oxygen to the brain, relax the mind, increase focus, and improve memory. You’ll need a chair and a small ball (or substitute).
