Hip Opening - Some Seated, More Standing. In today’s practice, we’ll explore hip opening poses including a standing Pigeon pose series. You’ll only need a chair for today’s class. Welcome to Bottoms Down Chair Yoga. I’m Carol and I’m happy you’ve chosen to spend this time together with me warming up to stretch, lengthen and strengthen your body. This 30 minute yoga practice includes poses to increase and maintain hip flexibility. We often hold tension in our hips, so join as we work to release the tightness and tension in the hip flexors and hip rotators. We warm up gently and center our work on our breath and mindful movements. You’ll need a chair for today’s class. We’ll start seated and move to a standing position and return to seated.
