Yoga for Legs - Seated. In today’s practice, we’ll explore poses that lengthen and strengthen our legs including seated Dancer pose with a strap. You’ll need a chair and a yoga strap for today’s class. If you don’t have a yoga strap, you can substitute a men’s necktie, a scarf or a belt. Or you can do the class without it. Welcome to Bottoms Down Chair Yoga. I’m Carol and I’m happy you’ve chosen to spend this time together with me warming up to stretch, lengthen and strengthen your body. This 35 minute yoga practice includes poses that focus on lengthening the muscles in our legs as well as building strength. We will hold our standing poses a little longer to build heat and strength in the legs. We warm up gently and center our work on our breath and mindful movements to build strength and focus mindfully. You’ll need a chair and a strap for today’s class. We’ll stay seated the entire time.
