Yoga for Balance - More Seated, Some Standing. In today’s practice, we’ll explore poses for balance including seated extended leaning mountain with a twist. You’ll need a chair and a yoga strap (or sub) for today’s class. Welcome to Bottoms Down Chair Yoga. I’m Carol and I’m happy you’ve chosen to spend this time together with me warming up to stretch, lengthen and strengthen your body. This 35 minute yoga practice includes poses that focus on improving our balance, an area that many of us struggle with. We’ll work through seated and standing balance poses with confidence knowing that our chair is right by our side for support. We warm up gently and center our work on our breath and mindful movements to build strength and focus mindfully. You’ll need a chair and a strap (or sub).
